SCADArf 1.0 Released |
The ITS SCADArf solution is designed to give you complete design control
of your Telemetry System. Created with the industry leading HMI InTouch® as the front
end, SCADArf gives you all the power of InTouch® while reducing the amount of
programming expertise usually required to maintain and expand your telemetry system.
Through the use of ActiveX objects and InTouch® wizards, SCADArf provides all the
tools to effectively manage and deploy SCADA solutions.

The MOSCAD family of RTUs combine the features of both a Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) and a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) in one box.

COMMUNICATIONS
All members of the MOSCAD family commonly use
two-way radio for the communication channel. Models with low power VHF, UHF, and 800
MHz radios are available. Operation on conventional, trunked, CDPD, or other specialized
communication networks is supported. When two-way radio is not prefered, dial-up or
leased wireline or Ethernet (10-base-T Intranet) communications is supported.

MDLC
All MOSCAD products utilize the MDLC protocol. MDLC was created to be particularly robust on crowded, shared
two-way radio communication circuits and it is equally functional on wireline and
Intranet circuits. MOSCAD may be programmed to be a DNP 3.0 master to on-site IEDs.
MOSCAD may be a member of an Intranet LAN and simultaneously use
two-way radio to connect off-LAN sites into the LAN. These capabilities allow
system designs that integrate equipment that otherwise could not communicate
among each other. |
