Screen Captures
Site Screen
The Site Screen provides a graphical and textual based view of your site. A site image representing your site is displayed in this ActiveX as well as any digital inputs that need to be displayed. InTouch® Analog and Digital Input Table Wizards are also provided to display input descriptions and configurable status messages and analog values. Built in support for input quality information is also provided.
Site Statistics
The Site Statistics Screen displays statistics calculated at the site. Typically used for preventative maintenance statistics such as pump runtimes and number of starts, these statistics are fully configurable in the Site Configuration. Displayed for today/yesterday and current/last month any digital input can be configured to calculate these vital statistics.
Site Notes
Site Notes are messages left from one operator to another. The intent is to replace the post-it notes that usually litter a control room monitor.
System Map
The System Map provides an overview of the entire system including alarm conditions and site navigation. Add new sites to the map by entering configuration mode while in Runtime and drag your new map icon to its correct location. Configure it to display a short site description or the site number and your new site is added!
Need to move an existing site? No problem! Just enter configuration mode and click, drag and drop the site icon to the new location.
Site Configuration
All site configuration is completed in Runtime, at no time do you need to enter the InTouch® Development environment, WindowMaker. Configure Digital Inputs, Analog Inputs and Statistics for the site through the Site Configuration ActiveX.
- Create custom images for your sites using digital cameras or any drawing package supporting JPG, BMP or GIF formats or choose from one of seven site images contained in the SCADArf Site Library.
- Represent your site inputs as one of the 140 pre-configured icons, create your own input icons or display your inputs as two-line text displays.
- Drag and Drop your input icons anywhere on your site image.
- Configure digital inputs as a status or alarm input. (An alarm input is defined as a critical site event that requires an operator acknowledgement, Pump Failure, while a status is a non-critical site event, Pump Running.)
- Change the alarm state for any digital input to Open or Closed.
- Change the Open/Closed message for the input.
- Configure Engineering Units for analog inputs.
- Adjust analog alarm
System Management
The System Management ActiveX is designed specifically for the I/O used in SCADArf. It provides administrative tools to configure and maintain the system as well as providing diagnostic information for the system.
- Enable/Disable alarm logging/printing.
- Enable/Disable/Configure alarm WAV file played during unacknowledged system alarms.
- Acknowledge alarm system wide.
- Configure automatic Excel based reporting.
- Configure Interrogation Schedules.
- Make sites Active/Inactive.
